剧情简介

1927年7月，率军北伐的贺龙在河南打败了张作霖的部队，取得了临颖大捷武汉国民政府主席汪精卫与蒋介石暗中勾结，强令贺龙返回武汉，为笼络军心，委任贺龙成为国民革命军第二十军军长。随即，汪精卫策划二十军童怀才部叛变，贺龙不顾《国民日报》随军纪者白莹劝阻，冒着枪林弹雨，策马前往，平息了这场哗变。贺龙从士兵口中知道，汪精卫已偷放了沾满中国人民鲜血的日本人山田。他赶往码头，堵截货船，用计抓住了藏在煤堆中的山田。汪精卫又指使武汉绅士名流重金收买贺龙，"鸿运楼"上，贺龙当着他们的面，把价值连城的珠宝尽数抛入湖中，使豪绅们心惊胆战。汪精卫一面高喊"东征讨蒋"，一面暗中收详情
